Dear Richard, Frostie and anyone else, trust me when I tell you I have first hand experience of not being liked and the truth is, it does not matter toss to me and nor should it to you. When you promote-run gig's/dj etc you will always have people who hate you, run you down,slag you off and all the crap that comes with it, and what's worse is "YOU KNOW ALL THIS". Can you imagine if Nicky Holloway or Chi responded to everyone who slagged then, or every time people knocked Hilly that he felt he had to go to press and respond. There is only one thing you have to concentrate on, full dance floors and the people on them...period. I've had it all my life, a couple of tossers in the corner telling you and making comments about how the gig should be run, what they'd have played blah blah f#*$ing blah.The reason they hate it is, they never get in that position in the first place and it kills them. No one knows who they are, they only feel secure around like-minded people, the scene has passed them by and the only contibution they have left is the bitterness that comes with watching you do well. So!! just deal with the percentages and screw the rest, you cant please all the people all the time etc etc. If you run a gig and you get 30 people in a venue that holds 200 then so what, at least your hav'in a go, I've had some of best nights of my life when we've travelled miles to a gig that was half empty, we just made the most of it, as many of us have done and will do again. It's always been very black and white to me, if you don't like the dj's or the gig, don't go !! If your not getting what you want out there then run your own gig............but you won't will you ??? stay anon because that's all you have.

Soulville easter break well well guys and gals what an event we had last year and by demand we moved it to easter .....so what we need is to know who will be attending ? Why you ask are the bookings that slow? No is the answer. lots of promises but show us the money ....as you will appreciate we lost alot of money last year and do not want to again this year ...so we need you guys and gals to be honest are you booking or not ? Also the tourist board say the hotels are booking quickly due to it being easter ....Never let it be said we are not being open with you our supporters ....We also appreciate alot of you are torn with all the other events going on at this time ....PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS NOT CANCELLED !!!!!!
